Concrete Cooling System

Sailent Features :

Basically two patent protected types
Multi Tray Rotating Column (MTRC)
Continuous cooling of aggregates (MTRC) & sand (Static)
Aggregate/ sand feeding conveyor as optional supply
Special water-locks keep the aggregates nearly free of water.
In the static type, static flights create necessary turbulence in the cooling media traveling upwards.
The MTRC cooler contains a multi tray assembly attached to the central shaft & is provided with levelers & knifes.
Available in any capacity required by customer.

Benefits:

Cooling water temperature is only 1-2 degrees lower than the desired “cooled aggregate temperature”. Thus reduced power requirement.
The water leaves the cooler from the overflow nozzle at the top end at the temperature of 1-2 degrees lower than the aggregate inlet temperature (i.e. 1-2 degrees lower than the ambient temperature) along with the dirt/ sludge etc. Thus there is near complete utilisation of the refrigeration energy in the cooling water.
Uniform temperature of the aggregate particle instead of superficial surface cooling
Requires bare minimum water feed rate & thus the lowest possible power consumption.
Independent of charging / discharging time requirements due to continuous operation.
Solids are discharged at the same temperature at reduced power consumption and thus high quality of concrete mix.
No loss of cooling water at temperature below room temp & no loss of energy used to produce this chilled water as to what happens in batch cooling.
